Hollywood making fun of itself, on purpose
Seth Rogen plays a studio guy and the joke is that the job is the job.
The Studio (2025)

The Studio is Hollywood roasting itself and then asking you to still like it. Rogen is doing the anxious-boss thing he is good at. The guest stars are the snack. Some episodes are just industry in-jokes wearing a better suit.
I laughed more than I expected and got bored in the middle of one episode, which feels honest for a show about a job. If you like movies as a business, you will have a good time. If you wanted a warm hug about art, this is not that.
Funny, a little inside-baseball, and shorter than it feels. Worth a night.

NFL Week 1, as a broadcast

Opening Sunday is television first. The games are the programming.
A full slate, three windows, and a night game that exists to keep the lights on after dinner.

August TV is leftovers and football
The prestige shows took the month off. The apps did not. Neither did the preseason.

The kitchen is still screaming
I love this show and I also need it to let a scene breathe.
