The game was meaner

Season 1 of The Last of Us was the rare game show that worked for people who never picked up a controller. Season 2 has a harder story and a harder time landing it. Pedro Pascal is doing what he can. The violence is the point and also the problem. TV makes you sit with it longer than a game does.

I did not hate it. I also did not need all of it. If you loved season 1, you will watch it anyway. That is not the same thing as it earning the night.

Fine if you are already in. Not the reason to start. The first season is still the one.
