The apartment that was a spreadsheet

A short-term rental, one weekend

The pitch is: live like a local. The reality is: do not use the top oven, do not have guests, take your shoes off, leave a review that is also a performance. The bed was fine. The kitchen was why I booked it and I used it once.
Hotels have a person at 11 p.m. Rentals have a chat window. I know which one I want after a delayed train. This score is for the weekend I actually had.
Hotel if you are tired. Rental if you actually need the kitchen and you have read the house rules like a contract, because they are.

The three-night minimum
The room is not the story. The stay rules are the story. They always are, the week before a holiday.
