Wimbledon on TV is still the most beautiful sports broadcast we have. Grass, white, a crowd that knows when to shut up. Then the feature stories start and you are watching a mini-doc about a player's childhood dog while a set is happening.

I watched more tennis this year than usual because the matches were good. That is the whole analysis. Put it on in the morning with coffee. Do not wait for the packaged version at 11 p.m.

Morning sessions on the couch are the move. The late highlights packages are a different, worse show.
