This movie is based on a Stephen King novel from the late 70's. If you are Gen Z, you may not know who Stephen King is for his novels but rather for his insane Twitter/X posts. The Long Walk is not the traditional King horror movie, instead it is about a society that is battling horrific economic times and The Long Walk is a contest sponsored by the military where each state has a competitor. This is essentially Hunger Gamesesque, where the competitors have to maintain a pace of 3mph for the contest.....
OR ELSE! The contest goes until one remains. The walk is filled with life lessons and friendships that form just as quickly as they come to an end. It took me a few days to really take the movie in. I give this one 2.75 out of 4 Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
It took me a few days to really take the movie in.

The toys left town. The room is the feature. The movie has to earn the rest.
