A night that asked you to get dressed

The Kennedy Center is easy to take for granted if you live here, which is a tell that it is working. I sat in a hall that was built to make you behave, and I did. The program was good. The building did half the job, which is allowed.

On-line reviews of cultural experiences cannot replace the stairs. They can tell you whether the current night is a conversation or a brand. This one was a conversation with a gift shop at the end. Fair.

Go in person. The stream is a souvenir. Parking is the tax. Leave time for the hall, not just the seat.
