The sequel that earned the wait

Hades II is another run, another death, another conversation with a god who has opinions. Melinoë is a different kind of protagonist than Zagreus and the game is a little colder for it. The combat clicked for me around the tenth run, which is how these games work.

I still think about the soundtrack after I put the controller down. That is the Supergiant trick. Not a small trick.
