Crime 101 hits theaters this Friday, but I got an early sneak peak of it last night. Right from the beginning of the film you can tell the Director has a goal to try and make this a modern-day Heat, which is a lofty goal. This is the type of movie where it was 2 hours and 10 minutes long, and you wish it was about a half-hour longer due to some holes in the story.
Hemsworth, Halle Berry and Barry Keoghan do a great job but Mark Ruffalo, as the aging persistent cop, fell short when comparing him to others that have been in similar roles before. This was a good movie that had the potential to be great. Overall, gets 3 out of 4 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
