The Strangers: Chapter 2
The original The Strangers (2008) is one that I still hold as one of the top horror movies of all time. This movie is Chapter 2 of the three chapter prequel to the original. While you finally learn a lot about who the "Strangers" actually are in this movie, from a horror lens, it just really wasn't that scary. It was definitely more about the setup for the final chapter than anything else and that is what left me a little disappointed. I think once chapter 3 comes out, I may have to sit down and watch Chapters 1-3 all at once to truly get the intended experience. For now, I give Chapter 2, 2.5 out of 4 Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
