Everything is a video now. The podcast is a video. Two people at a table with good mics and a camera that does not move. I do not need to see them nod. I need to hear the thought.

When the video adds something - a film clip, a chart, a person who talks with their hands in a way that is the joke - fine. When it is just a face so the algorithm is happy, that is not multimedia. That is a hostage situation.

Listen instead. Turn the picture on only if the guest is doing something worth seeing.
