A library that happens to be an app

Criterion Channel is the anti-algorithm. You open it and a dead director is the homepage. I watched something I could not have named that morning and felt like a person. That sounds pretentious. It felt like the opposite. It felt like going to a library.

The interface is a little precious. Fine. Precious is better than autoplay. If you already pay for four other apps, cancel one of those and keep this if you will use it.

Worth it if you will actually press play. A badge on your home screen is not a personality.
