A beach town that still has a hardware store

Bethany is the Mid-Atlantic beach for people who do not want to be in a music video. The sand is the sand. The town is a town. I got a slice, walked, and did not buy a T-shirt with a punchline. That is a successful trip.

It is not secret anymore. August will test you. May and September are the actual gift. If you only have August, go early and leave before the parking argument starts.

Rent a bike. Do not over-plan the dinner. The ocean does not need a reservation.
