The public record still has a waiting room

People talk about 'the news' as if it arrives. A lot of it is requested, delayed, redacted, and then argued about in a PDF. FOIA is not glamorous. It is how you find out what a government actually wrote down.

When a record lands, we will say so. When a record is being sat on, that is also the story. The clip will not cover this. That is why this desk exists.
