The 1980's cartoon is brought to life on the big screen with the return of He-Man and Skeletor. The movie gets right into the action as it takes the first 15 minutes or so to introduce the prime characters of Prince Adam/He-Man, Teela, Skeletor, etc. It tells the story of Adam and the powerful sword being sent to Earth during an attack and he has to use that sword to get back to Eternia. The problem is, Adam drops the sword in transit and does not have it for fifteen years. Eventually, he finds the sword and returns to Eternia to battle Skeletor and the rest of the evil army. The movie mixes in some comedic moments with the action, and does the obvious of questioning the sexuality of Prince Adam. This movie will not be for everyone, but I believe it does a good job bringing the cartoon back to life. I give it two and a half out of four Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
