Is This Thing On?

I went into this thinking it was a movie about stand-up comedy, and while that plays a role in the movie, there is so much more going on. Mid-life crisis, marriage complications, trying to find yourself, chasing your passions, and a reminder to never give up. This movie does a great job in portraying the complications of life and relationships, and it really makes you want to do a lot of self-reflection when you leave. Some may not like the pace of the movie, but overall I felt it was a strong story and good acting, so it gets 3 out of 4 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
