Two comedic genuises (Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen) join forces with Keanu Reeves and the expected comedic fireworks fall mostly flat. The premise is there for a good movie, but they try to tell a serious story with comedy mixed in and most of the comedy fell flat for me. Keanu Reeves, playing angel Gabriel, actually delivers the comedy performance of the movie - which in some respect shouldn't be a surprise since he is by far the best actor of the three. This is a movie I wanted to be good and it just was rough. Two and a quarter Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
